Travel Guide
All guests will need to fly into Lihue (LIH).
There are direct flights from west coast cities such as
LAX, SFO, OAK, PDX, SEA and DEN.
Alternatively, you can connect through Honolulu (HNL).
The airport is about 25 minutes from Poipu/Kola.
We recommend renting a car, especially if you want to do activities once on island.

Hertz, Avis, Thrifty, Budget, and Enterprise are all located at the airport.

Turo is a short shuttle ride (pick up at the airport) and taken to the lot to pick up your own privately rented vehichle (approx 6 mins away).

Sixt operates as an off-airport rental service and requires a shuttle (pick up at the airport) to their lot (approx 3 mins away).

Uber + Lyft are pretty much nonexistent and taxis are not guaranteed. We do not recommend relying on this type of transportation

Poipu Beach Park
The most famous and busiest beach on the south shore. Great for swimming, snorkeling, and families because of a protected cove
Brennecke's Beach
Known for bodyboarding and bodysurfing waves
Sheraton / Kiahuna Beach
Good for swimming, beginner surfing, and snorkeling thanks to an offshore reef.
Shipwreck Beach
Located in front of the Grand Hyatt Kauai. Long dramatic stretch of sand with strong waves
